FAMILY DAY 2019

                  FAMILY DAY 2019

 
    When I first arrive on the school with my mother we wrote our names on the attendance sheet and received the bingo cards with the raffle paper.

After we're done we directly went to our assigned tent and took a seat. About 5 minutes after the program started with two of the former students hosting the family day and they started to introduce what the program is all about. Right after their introduction it was time for Ms. A to have her own speech about why this day is important to all of the family's that attended the program.

After the principal's speech we started the dance contest. The first performance was from the Grade school let's just say it was grade 5 ,followed by grades 9 , 6 , 10 then it was our turn to dance infront of the judges and to the audience together with the parents that joined the dance.


   

After all of the performances the next Performance for the event was the Hot mama and Papa for the Nursery and Grade school. After the Hot Mama and Papa show it was time for the Founder of ACT and the President of ACT to give their speech to everyone that attended the event.

Then it was our time to take a break and eat our dinner. There were a lot of foods to choose since we were having a catering service. The dinner started at like 5:30 pm and it probably ended at like 7:00 pm because of the disco.

Finally after the Dinner we had a Raffle pick-up in which that you, me ,anyone can win in this pick-up and the fun thing is that i actually won something, It was a 300 peso cash and I was really happy that what i wished became true and the worse thing was there was no Bingo game and after that it was announced that there was no Bingo game me and my mother directly went out and went home and that is my Family Day 2019 experience.

                    “ The Story of Ruth ”

 
Introduction:

        As a Roman Catholic our culture and tradition are different from jews also knows as jewish people.  The basis of jewish law and tradition is the Torah.  According to rabbnic tradition, there are 613 commandments in the torah. It was also stated in the “Story of Ruth” that  “It was a jewish custom for a widow to marry her husband’s closest male relative.”
Body:

         In the story of Ruth it was stated “that judges ruled over Israel” but how many years did they ruled over Israel? According to my research (which i found it on a website called “christianlibrary.org” full link on the reference part.) they ruled Israel for over 410 years. The time when Naomi and her two sons were left after Elimelech’s death it was said that they moved to Moab but what is Moab? What I know is that Moab is the historical name for a moutainous tract of land in Jorda. The land lies alongside much of the east shore of the Dead Sea. A fact about Moab is that the name “Moab” comes from an ancient Biblical kingdom. Did you know that the yearly average rainfall in Moab area is 9 inches. Pretty Surprising ,right?  When Naomi and Ruth came back from Moab to Bethlehem  all of the villagers were shocked and stirred.

         Naomi said that “Don’t call me Naomi. Call me Mara” Naomi means “Pleasant”  while Mara means ”Bitter”. Also Bethlehem is the Place where Mary gave birth to jesus ,the child of God.  She and Joseph traveled from Nazareth to Joseph’s ancestral home in Bethlehem. As she gave birth to Jesus in Bethlehem they have found no room in the inn she placed the newborn in a manger. Bethlehem is named as the city King David came from and the place where he was crowned King of Israel. Bethlehem is where the Book of Ruth is set. The city of Bethlehem is also where Rachel gave birth to Benjamin and died. Thats according to my research. (Which i found it on a website called bethlehem-israel.info full link on the reference part.)

       As for the Barley farm it was just an ordinary farm owned by some person maybe it was Boaz? Barley farms nowadays aren’t the same as before ,as today’s generation we use machines to collect Barley. Anyways. Boaz is a wealthy landowner of Bethlehem in Judea, and kinsman of Elimelech, Naomi’s late husband. He noticed Ruth, the widowed Moabite daughter-in-law of Naomi, a relative of his ,gleaning grain in his fields. It’s weird that they need to marry their husband’s closest male relative if either the original husband will die. It’s really weird for my opinion because they are forced to marry someone they don’t like. Now, Back to the topic.  

         Boaz later married Ruth. When the Elder’s  heard about Boa’s declaration, they gave a blessing on Boaz and Ruth. Ruth has a son, which she and Boaz named Obed.  Now to end this Paragraph I’ll talk about their son ,Obed. The name Obed is a Biblical baby name. In Biblical the meaning of the name Obed is: A servant, workman. Obed was a son of Boaz and Ruth, the father of Jesse, and the grandfather of David.  He is named as one of Jesus Ancestors in the genealogies recorded in the Gospel of Matthew and the Gospel of Luke.
Conclusion:
               

             Our Tradition or Culture may be different from them but “Every age, every culture, every custom and tradition has its own character, its own weakness and its own strength, its beauties and cruelties; it accepts certain sufferings as matters of course, puts up patiently with certain evils. Human life is reduced to real suffering, to hell, only when two ages, two cultures and religions overlap.”  Words from the great Hermann Hesse proves that every culture and every tradition has its own character and has its own place.

                                       "My summer..."

                   Last summer my cousin Zhyrus and I were at my grandma and grandpa's house. Zhyrus and I wanted to go swimming.

                       "It's cold out there." my grandma cried.
               
                 "That's ok." I said, not knowing that it was cold outside Zhyrus and I walked to the beach. it was near grandma and grandpa's house. When we got there, there was no one there.

                       "Yes," Zhyrus said because no one was there.

                  Then we started tot he water. The sand was so warm. The was water was warm too. The only problem was the wind. We thought we should still swim for a little while since we came all the way, so we did. We played chess, we did handstands and lost more. Soon the wind really started to pickups, almost like a typhoon could kick in. So we started out of the water.

                   Soon we were walking all the way home. when we got there we had hot chocolate in the summer..!!

                                An open letter to Parents.

              As we can see today. We see children roaming around the streets and that's the parents fault. It's because they're lazy to take care of them or is it because they chose the wrong side? Instead of working and having plans on the future they'd destroy it by making love and abandoning their children ON the street with no one taking care of them.

                           Another problem is abusing children. Parents don't even realize that abusing children will lead them to jail. They would regret what they did to themselves and to the children they abused. They should at least know how to control their anger and the limits to scold their children. Stop abusing children it'll just lead us to jail and make our country known for abusing children. I hope that i'll not be seeing this kind of things ever again.                                                                                                                                                                                   -- Godwin Labaya.

FASHION NIGHT 2017

"FIELD DEMO"

The week before the Field demo .We made our props for our performance about the spaniards and The sinulog. Almost all of the subjects of that week used to just make the props for our Field demo. We practiced our Dance and tried to not get Ms.Fatima or Ms.Nina Mad.

The first to present was the Nursery followed by Kinder ,Grades 1 , and 2 (I don't have any pictures of them.)

The Grade 3 presented about how the farmers knew how to farm I think..?
And they explained how to farm ,stuffs like that.

I don't know what the Grade 4 presented but It was pretty decent and attractive even though they are not a lined and not in their proper places.

The Grade 5 section is under by Ms. Marifel and Ms. Shunny ,The Grade 5 students presented about Pirates and how they made ships and how they hunt.

And then after the Grade 6 it was our time to shine .It was our time to show what we've got and show what we practice FOR THE WHOLE WEEK! but it turned out that Ms.Nina didn't saw our Performance.

"PARDO NIGHT"

When Me and My mom I went to the Pardo Night ,Before the Presentation I saw a lot of people Preparing for their ,his/her's presentation Like some of these things. Below

                                         Some of them looked nervous while on the other hand
                                                             looks excited or ready.

And then the second Presentor Comes He is a boy ,Maybe hes gonna

do his the same performance in pagtitipon.

And then he starts to begin and until he is getting the hang of it.

And then after his Introduction he is starting rapidly with emotion

and with feelings.

After all the dances ,all the performances it all ended Nicely and safely.

Sorry Ms.Fatima this is all I know and this is all the pics That I have .I always expect my Works to be longer but I wasn't there in that night ,the PARDO NIGHT.

                                         The most unforgettable memories about my family

         The most unforgettable memories about my family is when we went to the swimming pool beside the sea and we spend our time on swimming until we reached midnight (12:00). We saw a starfish at the seashore after we spend our time on swimming on the pool. Me and my family decided to go home at that time, as we went home we directly went to sleep to restore energy and be ready for the next day.

NUTRITION MONTH

JINGLE

               Part 1 of nutrition month. This is the first event of out nutrition month every section practiced everyday for this competition, we asked begged teachers to let us use their time to practice for the jingle. When we practiced we always end to a failure, but we never stopped finding ways.

                   The day when we present our jingle we all look nervous and afraid that we will make a mistake but so far at the end of our presentation we were successful we were places 2nd to the last the winners were the Grade 10. All sections did their best to present their jingle.

                                              


                       
 NUTRI-WALK
                 

                         Part 2 after our flag ceremony we quickly go back to the classroom to grab our visor then we do a nutri-walk wearing our visor with the fruit that we are representing we were representing pineapple. As we walked around the campus we stopped near our guard house each section should do their cheer as they go to their respective area and our Ms and Mr healthy in front.

                                     

                                 ZUMBA
                           After our cheer we all have to dance "Zumba" by the lead instructor and dance club moderator Sir. Danery Repuela. At the end of the zumba they will pick/choose the best dancer. We all danced and had fun.

                    The winners of the Zumba is Aron Cazar and Hannah Joan Alusin they were asked to come up to stage and dance one more time, we all laughed when our very handsome idol Aron danced in front of 

everybody. And we enjoyed his dance and we can't stop laughing.
                                            

                                                      NUTRI-CHEF

                      After the zumba we head on to the first competition the "Nutri-chef" each section has a representative for the nutri-chef where the representatives will make a healthy meal and will let the judges see if which group made he best & healthiest. So far I did not know who won the contest since we were asked to stay in the lobby.

                                           

                      MR. AND MS. HEALTHY
                   Now it's the last event for our Nutrition month the Mr and Ms Healthy the same as he Nutri-chef each section has a muse and escort. They answered some questions made by the teachers, everyone looked handsome and pretty. Everybody cheered for their Mr and Ms.. They exerted all their effort to win and answer the Q & A
                                    

"The Boss baby"

   When I was watching the movie. I learned A lot of things and lessons especially at the really end of the movie. As I observe the movie was really well made as the creators put A LOT of lessons at the movie. Lessons like "Don't be rude to others who aren't rude to you." and "Never give up  until you accomplished your mission."

   What I think about the boss baby movie Is that the movie deserves a part 2. The characters of the story or movie was theodore lendsy templeton jr. ,Mom ,Dad and more characters that made us laugh and learn. If i were the boss baby I would rather behave and I will not fight my older brother.

  That I realized that theodore lendsy templeton and noel are a like  since I noticed noel has an over active imagination like fighting monsters and stuff, in his own world. I realized that im insulting others in the internet and if im going home I'll say sorry to everyone that I unsulted.
